DR DANIELA TODARO
General Practitioner, Women’s Health, Children’s Health
A graduate of the University of Melbourne’s School of Medicine and holder of a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dr. Todaro is particularly devoted to the health and wellbeing of women and children.
She has extensive experience in women’s health, including PAP smears, contraception , menopause . As a Shared Antenatal Care Practitioner with all major maternity hospitals, Dr. Todaro provides comprehensive care from pregnancy through to post-natal and paediatric stages.
Beyond women’s and children’s health, she is also an HIV s100 prescriber with strong interests in sexual health and mental illness . Her approach to medicine is empathetic, practical, and grounded in genuine care for her patients’ overall wellbeing.
Outside of work, Dr. Todaro loves swimming, walking, and spending time in nature — ideally followed by good food and great coffee. She relaxes by reading (medical journals, she admits with a laugh) and cooking for her family, with her signature chicken cacciatora being a household favourite.
An extrovert by nature, she enjoys being around people, laughing often, and staying optimistic. Colleagues describe her ascaring, empathetic, and resilient, with a knack for finding humour in life’s awkward moments.
Fun fact: Dr. Todaro once met Mother Teresa in India in 1987 — an experience that continues to inspire her compassionate approach to care.
When she’s not at the clinic, you might find her at Kitty Somerset, her favourite retro cocktail bar in Northcote.
