Dr. Roisin Mattinson is a dedicated women’s health GP with a special interest in all aspects of women’s health. After working across Melbourne’s northern and western suburbs, she is now welcoming new patients at Northcote Medical.

Whether you need a cervical screening test, guidance on contraception, Implanon insertion or removal, or support with menopause, Dr. Roisin brings extensive expertise, having completed her Certificate of Women’s Health (RANZCOG) alongside her Doctor of Medicine from Melbourne University. She is also a Shared Maternity Care affiliate, providing the majority of pregnancy care in the community.

Beyond women’s health, Dr. Roisin sees many children and encourages parents and carers to book an appointment for any concerns—big or small. Children can become unwell quickly, and early reassurance or intervention can make all the difference.

She also has a strong focus on preventative medicine and chronic disease management, helping her patients live as well as possible at every stage of life.

If you look her up online, you might come across photos from her days playing basketball in the SEABL (South East Australian Basketball League). These days, she’s more likely to be found experimenting with her Thermomix recipes or spending quality time with her family.
